Jess Howard is the maker behind Wild Vaquera Cinches. A fifth-generation cowgirl and Western artist, her work is deeply inspired and shaped by a lifetime rooted in ranching and the traditions of the Western way of life. Jess’s story and creative journey reflect a powerful blend of heritage, artistry, and function, and have been featured in the Western Horseman article "Art on the Range".

Kyla Kolbeck

Kyla Kolbeck is the maker behind JK2 Mohair. With deep roots in the ranching industry, she builds pulled wool saddle pads and beautifully crafted mohair cinches designed for real-world use. When Kyla isn’t creating tack for others, she’s putting her own products to work—testing them in demanding ranch conditions to ensure quality, durability, and comfort for both horse and rider. Every piece reflects her commitment to craftsmanship, function, and the traditions of the Western way of life.

Rachel Misiewicz

Rachel has been a horsewoman for as long as she can remember, but it was trailing cows in wide-open country that truly shaped her passion. From feedlots to cow camps, she’s learned the importance of her four-legged partners and the work they do together. Building saddle pads is both a creative outlet and a reflection of real-world experience, resulting in pieces made for riders who depend on their gear every day.

Melissa Carroll

Melissa Carroll is the maker behind Winged Withers Wool. After starting with a saddle pad kit, she quickly fell in love with the craft and the creative process behind it. Based in Arizona, Melissa balances life as a maker, trail rider, and mom of three, bringing her passion for horses and hands-on craftsmanship into every piece she creates.

Hannah Sheldon

Hannah Sheldon has spent the past two years packing mules in the Eastern Sierras, gaining hands-on experience in rugged backcountry conditions. A multi-talented adventurer—surfer, knitter, packer, and maker of saddle pads and cinches—she brings curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn to everything she does, embodying the spirit of exploration and hands-on skill.
